Catherine appeared in 1967 Spring Thaw-starred on CTV's River Inn 1968/69 and The Catherine McKinnon Show in 1970/71. She was also co-host in 1974 for Global TV's Everything Goes and has been seen on TV in Great Britian.
Her biggest album seller was VOICE OF AN ANGEL, a collection of folk material. She became a skilled nightclub performer in the 1970's. She then performed in several stage productions such as, The Wonder of It All, The Charlottetown Festival, The Rainbow Stage and Theatre Plus in Toronto where she performed in the role of Marg Osburne in Don Messer's Jubilee in 1989. She has also taken dramatic roles with Don Harron at Theater New Brunswick in Fredericton and the Neptune Theatre in Halifax.
Catherine had 8 singles and had 8 albums to her credit, with the last album in 1982 entitled, I'll Be Home For Christmas.
Catherine received The Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award at ECMA 2012 in Moncton in April 2012.
