Releases New CD entitled, With This Kiss

Meet Amy Sky, one of Canada's most beloved singer/songwriters from ASAmySkyProfilePicture.jpg Toronto, Ontario. Amy released three very successful CD's in six years and now she just released a new CD entitled, With This Kiss, A Romance Collection. This is her first CD, where she sang a collection of other peoples songs. And what an amazing collection of Romance songs that will enchance your heart in years to come! Within a short time of her musical career, she has garnered three Juno nominations; two for Best Songwriter, both for her own works and for compositions recorded by other artists and received several other nominations as well .


Amy writing's are much in demand and have been recorded by artists Reba McEntire, Diana Ross, Olivia Newton-John, Sheena Easton, Heart, Anne Murray, Natalie MacMaster, Roch Voisine and many, many more. Over the last few years, Amy appeared in Television specials and received rave reviews across the Country. One of her top TV specials was the one she performed with her husband, a great music artist, Marc Jordan in 1999. In 1998, Amy was asked to compose and perform two original songs for One Last Time - CTV television special featuring the popular figure skating duo of Barbara Underhill and Paul Martini.

A special mention about Amy's many award winning song compositions is the song she wrote with Roch Voisine entitled Deliver Me, a smash hit for Roch in 1998, won a Socan Award for Amy as well as another award for her song, Til You Love Somebody. In addition to her chart success and recording career, in 2001 Amy appeared alongside Margot Kidder and Maggie Cassella for an extended run in The Vagina Monologues in Toronto. Prior to this play, she appeared in the play, Blood Brothers to critical acclaim at Toronto's, Royal Alexandra alongside Michael Burgess and David Cassidy.

Amy sang the national Anthem at many important functions such as, at The Toronto Blue Jays games, The Toronto Maple Leafs games and sang at many political events, and speaking engagements, one involving President Bill Clinton. Amy presently sits on the Board of The Canada Music Council as the Artists' Rights delegate. When she is not touring, she fulfills her many charitable obligations.
