Dave Whalen and The Starlites, a Country Music Band , have been performing in and around Toronto for many years and continue to be a club favorite. Each band member, has been performing for years in various bands, and have years of experience in their music profession. In fact, some band members have been performing for over 25 years.

The Starlites, delight their fans and followers wherever they perform with a mixture of music from Country to East Coast to Rock and Roll. Here are the Band Members: Dave Whalen, (lead singer/rhythm guitar)-Chris Blackwell)-Don Bell, (drums)-and Winston Hancock, (singer/lead guitar). Dave, band leader, is from Bell Island, Newfoundland and moved to Toronto several years ago, to find a new lease on life and pursue his musical talents. He has now been involved in music for over 25 years. Don is a very talented drummer and had been involved in music for a number of years. Don comes from Leithbridge, Alberta. Winston is another talented lead guitar player and singer and also involved in music for many years. He hails from London, Ontario.

In 1997, Dave released his first cassette, entitled �My Forevers�. It was produced by Iikka Lehti and Bobby Johnston. Songs included are: Back In My Hometown, My Forevers, Chained To Your Love and three more. The band is very busy performing on weekends and are a Club favorite with many followers.
