Luke Samuel Cox, was born and raised inCox's Cove, Newfoundland. It is a small town of about 1,000people. It is situated just outside the City ofCorner Brook, on the west coast of Newfoundland.

Luke is the son of a lobster fisherman. He learnedto appreciate growing up next to the oceanthe traditions of celebrating its bountieswith music, song and dance. His song writing style is captivating and full of musicalhooks that will keep you singing for days.

Luke is now living in Ontario. He continues to write songs and performs in variousClubs. His first great CD, Adrift, isnow available.
