ASTobyKeith.jpgCountry Music Star Toby Keith is remembered today February 5, 2026. Toby passed away on February 5, 2024 due to cancer at age 62. Toby fought cancer with grace and courage until the end as he was diagnosed in 2022.

Born in Oklahoma, USA Toby has 5000 written songs in his catalog.

Toby was a polarizing figure in Country Music, crafting an identify around his macho and wrote songs fans loved to hear.

He won countless awards and achievements during his career1993-2024.

Toby had a powerful booming voice and a great sense of humour. He did 11 United Service Organization tours visiting troops and performed as well. He also raised millions of dollars for charity and built a home for kids and families affected with cancer.

He was known for his overt patriotism on songs like Courtesy of Red, White and Blue & boisterous bar room tunes like I Love this Bar and Red Solo Cup. Other smash hit songs were: Should of Been a Cowboy, How Do You Like Me Now, Good As I Once Was, Beer For My Horses with Willie Nelson and dozens more.

His last hit song before he passed away was, Don't Let The Old Man In.
