Raul Malo of The Mavericks Passes Away

ASRaulMsloofMavericksPromoPhoto.jpgCountry/Latin Pop/Folk Americana Music Legend RAUL MALO has passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at age 60 from cancer, the Lead singer of the Mavericks Group.

Raul had the most distinctive voice in American Music.

The whole music industry across the world were in shock in hearing this terrible sad news.

He was a charismatic singer and guitar player.

He was co-founder of the Mavericks and lead singer of the group which was co-founded in 1989 with his band mate, Paul Deakin.

The band received countless awards during their 36 years performing. They appeared on Billboard 15 times and had their highest single in 1996 with their major hit song, ALL YOU EVER DO IS BRING ME DOWN.

They recorded 28 singles, all hits.
