Remembering Buddy Holly On Feb 3 2025
As Well as Ritchie Valens and The Big Booper
By John Gavin, Sunday, February 2, 2025

Music artists Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Booper were all killed in a plane crash along with the plane pilot, Roger Peterson on February 3, 1959.

The group had left after a show in Clear Lake, Iowa and charted a plane to fly to Moorhead, Minn, however the plane crashed on the way and landed in pieces in a cornfield.

Music Artist Don MacLean in his song American Pie, mentioned The Day The Music Died.

Here are some photos remembering the terrible tragedy!
