Hugh's Room Live on 2261 Dundas St in Toronto is moving to a new home at 296 Broadview , Toronto.

Hugh's Room opened 20 years ago and was home to hundreds of Music Artistsover these years such as folk, country, rock, gospel and the list goes on. Music artists such as Ron Hynes, JP Cormier, The Cotters, Dave Gunning ,Lennie Gallant, Evans and Doherty, Jimmy Rankin, Richard Wood, The Fables, Joel Plakett. Sons of Maxwell, Ashley MacIsaac, Bruce Guthro, Barachois, Glamour Puss, Troy MaGillivray from Atlantic Canada are just a few of the hundreds that performed at Hugh's Room.

Atlantic Seabreeze always was instrumetal in promoting the Room and considered Hugh's Room as one of the finest venues in Toronto.

Richard Carson opened the Room in 2001 in memory of his brother Hugh who passed away in 1999 of cancer. Hugh always wanted to have a club promoting music.

Hugh's Room closed in January 2017 after 15 years due to financal difficulties but with charitable donors reopened in April 2, 2017. Then in March 2020 went dark again with Covid 19. Now in March 2022, The Room reopened to a whole list of entertainment.

Hugh's Room now purchased a heritage church building designed by EJ Lennox located at 296 Broadview and hopefully will open in June 2022

A fund raising campaign is underway and will be seeking further support from major donors and sponsors. Donors can contribute at Canada Helps or trasferfunds to: manager @hughsroom.com and receive a tax receipt.
