Now in March 2021, Fred White one of the 2 surviving members of the original band released their 25th Anniversary CD in March 2021.
There is so much demand for their music, Fred and his wife Mary decided to release a number of the bands original CD's.
The 25th Anniversary CD contains 10 tracks of songs. Some of the songs were performed by the bands original members and some tracks are by the New Carlton Showband. Some of the track titles are Town of BallyBay, Kiss My Old Mother For Me, Flight of Earls, The Blacksmith, Cape Breton Medley, My Lovely Irish Rose and 4 others.
The original band performed across Canada for 35 years from 1964 to 1996. They disbanded in 1996, however one original member Fred White remained to keep the band going and added some new members and continued to perform until 2013.
New members were Larris and Robert Benoit, Roddie Lee, Greg Donaghey, Aaron Lewis and original member Fred White.
The original Carlton Showband won a Juno award produced 27 albums and had 19 singles on radio.
The original band comprised of: Chris O'Tool, Seamus Grew, Christy McLaughlin, Sean McManus, Fred White, Mike Feeney, Bob Lewis with additions off and on through the years Johnny Patterson and Edwin Mitch McCoy.
