Remembering Eddie Cochran Killed on April 17 1960
In UK after a tour on way to airport

Remembering Eddie Cochran, rock teen idol of 1959 and part of 1960, who was killed on April 17, 1960 in the UK at age of 22. He was killed in a car accident on the way to the airport after a successful tour of the UK. They were on the way to appear on the Ed Sullivan Show in New York. He was on tour with teen idol Gene Vincent. Eddies songwriter, Gene Vincent and the taxi driver were shaken up and slightly injured. Eddie was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999.
