The Stan Rogers Folk Festival is a celebration of musical talent honouring one of Canada’s most prolific songwriters, Stan Rogers. The weekend-long musical adventure features a variety of genres, including folk, country, jazz, swing, blues, rag, gospel, pop, rock, bluegrass and world music and has won the East Coast Music Award for Event of the Year three times (2002-2004). During each day of the festival, four daytime stages operate concurrently from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The evening stage begins at 7 p.m. and stretches into the wee hours. Thousands camp on-site and at nearby campgrounds.
Stan Rogers Folk Festival Announces 2017 Artists
The Stan Rogers Folk Festival the 21st edition in Canso, Nova Scotia takes place on June 30-July 2, 2017.
Artists performing were announced on March 15. Headliners for the festival are
Country Music award winner Terri Clark and Bahamas.
