Daron Norwood, Country Singer Passes Away
At 49 years old in Texas, USA

Daron Norwood, country music singer/songwriter from Lubbock, Texas passed away July 22/15 at the age fof 49. Daron was found dead in his apartment and no foul play was involved. Daron was last seen with friends the previous evening.

He released his Self-titled debut album in 1993 and in 1995 he followed up with his second album entitled, Ready, Willing and Able. His debut album produced two top 40 hits, If it Wasn't For Her, I Wouldn't Have You and Cowboys Don't Cry. He released a third album in 2012, entitled I Still Believe. During his short career he had 6 singles on the Billboard charts.

Daron walked away from his music career in 1995, battling alcholism. He just couldn't cope with the addiction. He was known to drink 20-25 shots of Jack Daniels a night.

He got involved in helping children in later years to cope with drugs and alcohol.

He leaves behind his wife and daughter.
