Let us remember Gene MacLellan, a genious songwriter, singer and music artist from P.EI. who passed away 20 years ago, January 19, 1995.

How can we forget the beautiful songs he wrote and sang such songs as:

SNOWBIRD

PUER TO VALLARTA

THE CALL

PUT YOUR HAND IN THE HAND

PAGES OF TIME and many more.

The song Snowbird became a signature song for Anne Murray of Springhill, Nova Scotia and this song launched an unbeliveable career for Anne, who is now retired.

The song, Put Your Hand in The Hand was picked up by Elvis Presley and it became an instant hit.

Just in the last few years his daughter Catherine has became one of the most popular artists in Atlantic Canada. With her beautiful voice, she charms the audience wherever she performs.

Gene will be in our hearts forever, and most of all we are able today to listen to his songs on various websites and purchase his music as well.
