Billy MacInnis, popular fiddle player and singer from Charlottetown, P.E.I recently released a new album entitled, Live at The Trailside Cafe. Trailside Cafe is located in Mount Stewart, PEI and is a well known venue and attracts many artists from across the Maritimes and owned by Pat and Meghann Deighan.

What an amazing fiddle album says John of Atlantic Seabreeze! The album contains 17 different tracks, all perfectly performed by Billy. Many tunes are traditional others are Billy's own tunes. Billy sings 3 songs namely, Maple Sugar Sweetheart, Bar of Broken Hearts and Older The Violin The Sweeter The Music.

Billy is accompanied by musicians, Leon Gallant, on acoustic guitar from Stanley Bridge, PEI and outstanding piano player Johnny Ross from Charlottetown. The CD was recorded, mixed and mastered by Donald Richard, from Evangeline and produced by Billy. The sound of this album is outstanding for a live album.

Billy dedicates the tune Maritime Waltz in memory of his dear friend Tom Connors. Billy performed for many years with Stompin' Tom Connors on Tom's Live performances across Canada.

Atlantic Seabreeze gives this album a 5+ rating on its rating list and forsees nominations and awards for this album.
