Katie McGarry singer/songwriter from P.E.I. just released her new album entitled, WAITING ON in May 2014. Katie describes her album as country/americana with a dash of folk and pop to wash it down. This album is a follow-up to her first CD entitled, MY SIDE OF HOME which was nominated for two MusicPEI Awards in 2011. She was the 2011 recipent of the Lynn Grishko Busary presented by MusicPEI to a deserving emerging female artist.

The album was produced by Katie and Dan Currie and Jon Matthews at the Sound Mill Studio in Emyvale, PEI. Influences include Patsy Cline, Emmylou Harris, the Dixie Chicks, Sheryl Crow and Fleetwood Mac.
