Merle Haggard, 75 years old, a country music legend, will be performing in southern Ontario, Quebec and The Maritimes in 13 cities in May 2013. Merle battled lung cancer in 2008 and had a part of his lung removed. As of today, Merle has beaten the disease and he has no signs of slowing down. Merle said recently that he has more energy and enthusiasm than a younger man or woman.

His performances will be in: Kitchener-Barrie-North Bay-Pembroke-Kingston-Quebec-Bathurst-Moncton-Yarmouth-Halifax-Sydney-Saint John-Charlottetown.

Merle recently released a new album entitled, Working In Tennessee, containing 11 songs, most of them self-penned by Merle including a Johnny Cash classic, Jackson. Also included is a new version of, Working Man Blues featuring Willie Nelson,ands son Ben Haggard.,
