Kevin Collins, professional award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and producer from Placentia, Newfoundland released a new exciting CD in May 2008 entitled, JUST CALL MY NAME. Kevin has won several music aeards thru the years and he was awarded Ambassador of The Year by Tourism Newfoundland and Labrador on June 12, 2007. He has completed 15 CD's and 2 DVD's in his music career to date.

His new CD includes 13 songs, all sung to perfection. Kevin included a song collection by Justin Tubb, A Charlie Pride Medley, a John Cameron favourite entitled, Ballad of St. Anne's Reel, many favourites by other writers and others written by himself.

Kevin had many popular musicians help him produce the music on the CD namely, Sean O'Grady, Steve Piticco, Steve Smith, Bob Lucier, Don Reed, Mel Aucoin, Steve Edwards, Todd Nolan and Kevin Collins. It was recorded at Mel's Owen Sound, Ontario and Sawyer Hill Productions in Placentia, Nfld.

Just announced that Kevin was nominated for 2 MNL Music Awards (Male Artist of The Year and Country Artist of The Year) to be presented in November/08 in Gander, NL. These nominations were the result of this great album.
