Charlottetown, P.E.I. Festival of Lights committee announced the artist line-up for their Festival June 30-July 3/04.

The line-up includes popular acts from the past and cutting-edge contemporary rock.

June 30-April Wine and Hootie & The Blowfish

July 1-All day free concert with several Island Acts and featuring the popular Acadian group, Grand Derangement

July 2-The Trews, the pride of Antognish, and Juno Award-winning rocker, Sam Roberts

July 3-Juno Award Nominee, SHAYE and LIVE, an alternative rock band from Pennsylvania

On July 1st, there will be the largest fireworks display in Atlantic Canada over the Charlottetown Harbor.

The festival is billed as a first-class event with a significant economic impact for both the city and province.

Several popular festival attractions will be back this year, including the International Buskers and the Children's Village, and several new ones, including the McCain Wild Ones Bikes - Boards & Blades Extreme Sports Demo.
