Ivan is now living again in New Brunswick where he has completed and launched his first studio album called "Here Goes Nothin" The album "Here Goes Nothin" is a collection of songs that are either written or co-written by Daigle. In Ivan's year on PEI he racked up the accolades winning fans all over. Taking first place at the Atlantic Star Talent Contest in Summerside, taking 2nd place in the Tyne Valley Oyster Festival Talent Contest and numerous other appearances since then. The First single from "Here Goes Nothin", "Top of My Glass" has done very well both on Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick Radio stations. Ivan has had success as both a singer and songwriter co-writing the title song, "Home To You", with and for Gerald Delhunty (former Lead Vocalist of the Super Group Sweet Temptation). Also on that album is an up-tempo number entitled "Two-Step you out of my mind" also co-written by Ivan. Ivan has been approached by another band called "Groupe ACAJUN" who were the winners of the talent competition called Choix du futur (Future Choice, loosely translated) through Choix 99.9 FM radio in Moncton NB to record some of his songs as well. They are an Uptempo hard-driving party band but very serious about their work. The Group is a mixed bag of music from French-Acadian-Style-Country, Country & Classic Rock'n'Roll music.
So all things considered 2007 and 2008 have been excellent years for Ivan and 2009 promises to be even better. Ivan's website is NOW up and running Since January 2nd 2008 www.IvanDaigle.com. On Thursday March 6th 2008 Ivan and the band opened for Melanie Morgan and Country Music 's Premiere Canadian Family "The Wilkinson's" at the Moncton Auditorium. It was, as always, High Energy, Great Music and always full of laughs. Ivan has a way of making you feel like you're up on the stage with him due to his ability of making everything that he does...Relatable. He loves his family, to laugh and he loves to entertain, he has a serious side but its only about how good the music should sound, Ivan says: "Once you have that down...everything else is cake." Ivan looks forward to all the challenges the lie ahead for 2009 no matter what they may be. UPDATE 2013:
Ivan was runner-up in Canada's Got Talent Contest in 2012. He was the only representative of country music to make it to the finals. Since the contest, he received several high profile bookings such as the Cavendish Beach festival in PEI. He is one of Canada's stellar country artists. He has a strong work etic and a genuine desire to entertain that spans generations with ease and leaves fans wanting more.
