Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jason Roach who recently had a heart attack and had open heart surgery in Halifax.

Jason is the most impressive piano player you will ever hear and has a style of his own.

In the last few years he is a band member of COIG an award winning band from Cape Breton. They have received 30 nominations and awards.

He performs with many Cape Breton music artists such as Natalie MacMaster, Ashley MacMaster, Colin Grant, Chrissy Crowley and many, many others. He is always featured with many artists at Celtic Colors every year and has travelled the world touring with many artists.

A Go-Fund on face book has been set up for those want to donate towards his recovery to help with medical costs and so on.
