Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell Organizers Announce Cavendish Beach Drive-In Concert Series; PEI's Only Live Drive-In Music Event Today, the organizers of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell are pleased to announce the Cavendish Beach Drive-In Concert Series. The Drive-In Series will be PEI's first and only live drive-in music event. The event will take place at the Cavendish Beach Festival and Events Centre where attendees will enjoy live performances from a full lineup of local artists live on stage from the comfort and safety of their cars. The series will take place over four weekends in July and August.

We are excited to welcome visitors from across Atlantic Canada back to our venue to enjoy a night of great entertainment. The Island is rich in talent of great musicians and we are proud to be able to showcase them at the Cavendish Beach Festival and Events Centre, comments Jeff Squires President of Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell.

The series kicks off July 11th with a nod to Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell weekend with a talented lineup of country and folk artists. Two-time Music PEI Award, Canadian Folk Music Award-winner, and Juno nominated singer-songwriter Irish Mythen will be headlining the night, joined by Ben Chase, Cory Gallant and The Red Dirt Posse, Brooke MacArthur and Inn Echo.

Mythen, who played at the festival in 2015, commented; Cavendish, one of the premier festivals in North America is back and I'm delighted to be back on the main stage. Hell yeah PEI.

Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell fans in Atlantic Canada can also look forward to a special broadcast on CTV Two at 8:00pm local time, July 11th. The broadcast will include special messages and performances from Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell past favourites.

The July 25th show will feature indie rock headliners Two Hours Traffic, with Kinley, Rachel Beck, Logan Richard and Vince the Messenger kicking off the show.

August 8th brings Gordie Mackeeman and his Rhythm Boys, Dylan Menzie, and Trinity Bradshaw to the stage, with Juno and Canadian Country Music Award-nominated artists The Ellis Family Band headlining the night.

The final show on August 29th will feature headliner and ECMA Entertainer of the Year Award-winner Lennie Gallant, along with Catherine MacLellan, Alicia Toner, and Hailee Lefort Trio.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase through the MHG Delivered App and delivered directly to vehicles. Attendees are encouraged to download the app prior to arriving at the venue.
