Please go to Face Book, and type in Stompin Tom Jr and follow the directions. (Click on Tom's Photo with 2020 over it) Give reasons why Stompin Tom should be on the new bill.

There are several reasons why Stompin' Tom should be on the new $5 bill:

5) Received Order of Canada in 1996

6) Received Lifetime Artists Achievement Award for Popular Music

7) Received an Honorary LLD University of Toronto

8) Received an Honorary LLD University of PEI

11) His Song, The Hockey Song has become a Hockey Rink Institution

12) Stompin Tom has a Star on Canadas Walk of Fame in Toronto, Ontario

13)A Bronze Statue of Stompin Tom was erected in the City of Sudbury, Ontario

Stompin' Tom passed away on March 6, 2013 at age 77. He will never be forgotten by Canadians because he loved the country and sang about it, rightly so. In Skinners Pond PEI where Tom went to school, an outstanding memorial Center was built on his donated land along with the school he attended.

Thousands of local people & tourists from all over the world flock to visit the center every summer. Music events and dinner theatres are held all summer. Chad Matthews a local idol of Stompin Tom, plays the part of Stompin Tom along with an all star cast. Every noon time every day all summer, local music artist Kurk Bernard sings all Stompin Tom songs to a full house daily.

Fans can visit the school and visit the museum to observe all achievements and awards and even visit the gift shop containing all Stompin' Tom souvenirs and music. Plenty of food is available from the kitchen.

What more can be said about Stompin Tom, and its up to fans to express their opinions regarding Tom and place your vote to have Stompin Tom on the new $5 bill.
