Lennie Gallant from PEI and Stan Rogers from Nova Scotia will be inducted

into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame at ECMA in Charlottetown on May 5, 2019 at the Industry Awards.

Lennie's song, Peters Dream along with Stan Rogers Celtic Folk legend was the major factor to the awards Hall of Fame inductions.

Peter's Dream was recorded in 1994 and was about the collapse of the East Coast fishery and the disappearance of a centuries-old way of life.

Stan Rogers was born in Hamilton, Ontario, absorbed Celtic music while summering in his mothers hometown of Canso, Nova Scotia, who gained

national prominence playing his own folk-roots compositions for CBC Radio and on Celtic Godfather, John Allan Cameron's popular TV show.

Stan Rogers induction award will be presented to his family and widow, Ariel Rogers with a performance by Juno-winning artist, Old Man Luedecke.

The song induction for Peters Dream will be presented to Gallant and performed by P.E.I. folk-pop singer, Rose Cousins.
