Emma Cook is a Toronto Indie-folk singer, and has just released a one of a two part EP called Counting Sheep and will release a second part in fall of 2016.

Emma knows what it means to struggle. She was well on her way making a name for herself, before a falling tree branch caused a serious head injury and forced her to take a hiatus from music to focus on recovery.

After a 3 year battle with Post-Concussive Syndrome, she was able to release the first installment of her new EP. The EP cover shows a single tree branch, an ode to the artists ongoing fight to recover from her injuries and the power of music to get us through the hardest of times.

There are 3 songs on the EP namely; Sixteen - If He Can't Have It All and Counting Sheep. Produced by Mitch Girio and including musicians namely; Gary Craig, Christine Bougie and Bryden Baird. All 3 songs were written by Emma. Both her 2 previous albums received fantastic reviews.

All 3 songs sound great and Atlantic Seabreeze gives the EP high ratings on its rating list. Emma is now busy working on songs for her new album in 2017. She is channeling all her loss and frustration and all of the pain and hardship of the last few years.
