Wendy MacIsaac, renowned traditional fiddler from Cape Breton has recently released a new CD entitled, Off The Floor.

Wendy is from the old school style of fiddle players who is keeping the traditional sounds alive in Cape Breton and beyond. She is in high demand for skills at teaching the Cape Breton style of fiddling.

In 2015, Wendy was nominated for a MusicNS Award for Traditional/Roots Recording, as well nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award the same year.

This new CD, Off The Floor, is a true example of her incredible style of traditional fiddling.

The CD was recorded at Lakewind Sound Studio, Point Aconi, N.S, in 2005 and at West Mabou Hall, N.S. in August 2014.
