Coyote, a Charlottetown, PEI Pop/Rock Band, just won Pop Recording of the Year Award at ECMA 2016 in Sydney, Cape Breton for their album, Proof of Life.

The Band had 3 nominations going into the ECMA's for Pop Recording, Rising Star and Group Recording for their Album, Proof of Life.

During ECMA week, they had 2 impressive showcases which were well-deserved performances.

The band is known for their well-researched performances and fun-loving attitudes and the CD sounds is just that.

The CD has 6 tracks namely:

Your House - Old News - Melody/Harmony - Future Love - Proof of Life - Toothache

The CD was produced and engineered by Colin Buchanan (Paper Lions) along with Adam Gallant who helped Colin with engineering and mixing the music.

Musicians were: Josh Carter, vocals, guitar - Bruce Rooney, guitar and vocals - Evan McCosham, bass, vocals - Bradford Rooney, keys - Mike King, drums, percussion.

Their positive, life-affirming lyrics, massive guitar hooks, and tasteful synth arrangements will fire up any dance floor and leaving listeners wanting more.

Atlantic Seabreeze gives this album a full 5 Star rating out of 5 Stars, and we forsee great happenings with the band in 2016, including MusicPEI Awards Week in Charlottetown, P.E.I. during May 18-22.
