Loretta's new album is slated to be released on March 4, 2016. The album is Lynn's first of a multi-million album deal with Sony Legacy Recordings, recorded at the Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, Tenn. and produced by Patsy Lynn Russell and John Carter Cash.
Some of the tracks are folk and gospel songs, reminiscent of the singer's Appalachian upbringing, some are new takes on classic Lynn hits or country standards.
Lynn's last album was released in 2004 with rocker & producer Jack White titled, VAN LEAR ROSE. It earned both artists five Grammy nominations, of which they won two.
The new album will be released simultaneously with a new documentary about Lynn's life and career, LORETTA LYNN: STILL A MOUNTAIN GIRL, which will air on PBS. The album is now available for preorder via Amazon.
