Blake Reid, country music Artist , a native of Cremona, Alberta, just released his sophmore album entitled Rust (Royalty /Sony Music Canada on October 30.

The album includes the lead single, SOUNDS LIKE A SONG and see Reid collaborate with Nashville producer, Phil O'Donnell (Brett Kissel, High Valley, Blake Shelton). The rersult is a collection of songs which capture an authentic country sound.

The lead song, Sounds Like A Song is an up-tempo track with all the markings of an instant radio hit. It's the type of hard-edged track that makes you want to kick on some cowboy boots and hit the rodeo. Reid has the ability to create diverse tracks while maintaining his innate, homegrown country style. He comes from a five-generation farm family.

Here are the 11 song titles:

Stay Home-Rust-Cowboys Were Kings-Ghosts-Windmill-Sounds Like A Song-Mile of Dust-Whiskey Lonely and Me-How Country-Irol Johnson-That's What Grandpas Do

The album was produced by Phil O'Donnell and recorded at Legend Studios in Nashville. Blake co-wrote with award winning country singer/songwriter, Bobby Owens who also wrote for Blake Shelton, Sunny Sweeney and Gord Bamford.

The incredible musicians helping Blake with the music were: Greg Morrow-Kevin Grantt-John Willis-Phil O'Donnell-J.T. Corenflos-Mike Johnson-Russ Pahl with background vocals by Russell Terral and Phil O'Donnell.

Reid is passionate about producing authentic country music and RUST reflects this.
