Much to the surprise of Dolly Parton, Country Music much-known recording artist, Ronnie McDowell presented her with a painting of Elvis Presley and Dolly.

Recently Ronnie had the opportunity to sing a duet with Dolly with the song, (Last Night I Dreamed About Elvis). Both artists had the same love for Elvis. Dolly had told the story about the time Elvis wanted to record her song, (I will always Love You), but much to her disappointment, a dispute over publishing with Colonel Tom Parker, Manager of Elvis, and Dolly never got her Elvis moment.

Ronnie touched by Dolly's disappointment, he put to work his lesser known talents and created an Elvis moment with Dolly by a painting designed to stand the test of time. When his project was finished, he presented his work to Dolly, and she screamed and screamed with joy.

The painting shows Elvis and Dolly on a picnic in her hometown of Sevierville, TN. with the Great Smoky Mountains in the background. The lyric sheet for (I Will Always Love You) is placed on the blanket with Dolly holding her guitar with a butterfly resting gently on it.

When Dolly had a moment to compose herself after the presentation, she exclaimed, Dame! I wish I looked that good!

What an amazing happening in the lives of Ronnie and Dolly and one they will always remember!
