The Ennis Sisters from Newfoundland recently released their new CD entitled Stages. The Ennis Sisters are Maureen, Teresa and Karen and are world renowned songbirds with voices as powerful as the Atlantic Ocean. They have received multiple accolades with a JUNO Award, a SOCAN Award for song writing, Multiple ECMA Awards and MusicNL Awards.

With their 20 music years gone by, The Ennis Sisters decided to produce another CD to add to their previous recordings. The result is a seamless blend of contemporary and tradition songs that bridges conventional genres. Its a return to their roots singing contemporary folk songs with a traditional Irish Newfoundland twist.

The CD, Stages is a 11 track collection of beautifully crafted songs inspired by the Trio's Newfoundland folk beginnings. The CD was produced by Maureen Ennis and sough after Newfoundland multi-instrumentalist Billy Sutton of The Fables fame. The groups trademark harmonies soar throughout the album.

The album is a love to old world Newfoundland with a modern flair-A musical journey for the past 20 years. Satisfied singing songs inspired by their roots, especially when they sing together, Stages is a reflection of that.

Here are the 11 song titles:

Out From St. Leonards - Dreaming My Dreams With You Red Haired Mary - Peter's Dream - Killing The Blues Take Me Home - Rock Yourself On The Ocean Summer of My Dreams - The Pines - A Lullaby - Sailor's Boots

Many musicians helped with the music for this Album such as Billy Sutton, Joel F. Hunt, Jason Whelan, Louis MacDonald, Bob Pike and many more.

Atlantic Seabreeze is overwhelmned with this CD and gives a 5 Star + rating on its rating list. It is indeed a great listening album and a welcome addition to anyone's music library.
