Gordon Belsher, singer, songwriter and PEI Music Award Winner including Life Time Achievement Award, and accompanist with fiddling dynamo Richard Wood, just released a new CD in Nov 2014 entitled, VAGABOND MINSTREL. It is a follow-up to his last CD, Passed Presence, Past and Present.

The CD contains 14 songs including the song, Cradle of Canada, which was a top ten finalist for the PEI 2014 Celebration Anthem written by Belsher. The CD also includes a new mix of No Time Like The Present adding a string quartet as well as 5 other new tracks plus 7 more from previous recordings that are no longer available.

Gordon's original FOLK arrangements of 1960's songs from The Beatles, Procol Harum, The Zombies, Peter & Gordon, Moby Grape, Donovan, The Turtles and The Kinks are included.

Gordon explains that this album is a little less Celtic for me, but reflects a lifetime of music I love, done my way. Here are the title tracks:

Atlantic Seabreeze comments, this CD is very enjoyable to listen to, as Gordon does a great job bringing many of those old songs from the 1960's, back to life in his own stlye, very easy listening and the music is surpurb. High ratings is bestowed upon this album on its rating list.
