Shania Twain shined at her concert in Charlotetown, PEI on August 30, 2014. Before a crowd of over 22,000 Shania had the fans in the palm of her hands. The concert was a part of PEI Founders Week celebrating the 150th year of the Historic 1864 Conference which led to Canadian Confederation.

Shania Twain, who performs regularly in Las Vegas, left briefly to perform in Charlottetown, to take part in the 2014 Celebrations.

The unforgettable performance was one that even Shania said it herself and she hoped everybody was happy and really excited as they were all in it together and had a good time.

Opening the concert was newcomer from Summerside, PEI, Tracy Bradshaw and Canada's famous performer Cory Hart.

Shania commented that she was happy to perform on Canadian soil celebrating her birthday as well during the week, and that she felt at home on PEI relating to the Canadian people and the culture.

Twain is the world's best-selling female country artist of all time with more than 75 million albums sold. She has multi-platinum sales in 32 countries, has the eight-biggest selling album of all time in the U.S. and 18 top ten songs, each of which reached No 1.
