Amy & Rachel Beck hail from Eastern P.E. I. They were nominated for a MusicPEI Award 2014 for Roots Contemporary. They are fresh-to-the-fold, folk singing sisters and have quickly ascended to the national stage when they came out of nowhere to land a spot as national finalists in the inaugural CBC Searchlight Contest in March 2013.

In October 2013 they released their new Self-titled album It contains 9 songs recorded by engineer/producer Mike Shephard at Lakewind Studios on Cape Breton Island.

The songs share stories of love and loss, hedartbreak and hope- stories often seeded by the people and places with which they share their deep-running rural roots.

Here are the song titles:

Up To Here - Goodbye Drama - The Spaces In Between -Let Go -Coulda Shouldda Wouldda - Pick Up The Pieces - I Told You So - How Much Love - Maybe Someday

And whether its just the two sisters onstage, armed with Amy's guitar, keyboard and cajon, or they get a little hep from their friends, few will leave an Amy and Rachel performance without feeling like a part of the family - and that's just fine with them.

Atlantic Seabreeze gives this fine album high ratings on its rating list. Listeners will love their vocals and performances.
