Ashley Condon hails from P.E.I. and is the grandchild of Bill LeBlanc, a Canadian country pioneer who once spent the night in jail with Hank Snow. Ashley has won audiences over with her larger-than-life stage presence and down-to-earth charm. Growing up she liked old-time country, to folk, blues and soul music.

Her previous album, Come In From The Cold, earned her many nominations, MusicPEI awards, Canadian Folk Music Award and an ECMA Award.

Her follow-up album, This Great Compromise, was produced by 3 time Juno winner, David Francey. Ashley was backed up with David's touring musicians, Chris Coole, Mark Westberg, John Shiwman and Darren McMullen.

The Album contains 12 songs, all written by Ashley except, Deep Down in the River and Sea and Land written by Ashley and David Francey. The song, Toronto, was written by Ashley and Ken Spears.

Here are the song titles:

All My Life - Deep Down in the River - Your Love Is Beautiful - This Great Compromise - Toronto - Going To The Country - Sea and Land - Gentle Man - We'v e Got Love - Betty's Song - Eastbound Train - I'm Going Home

The CD jacket contains all words to each song and listeners can sing along with Ashley.

Ashley has established a reputation in the Maritimes as a powerful writer and singer and an uncommonly-talented entertainer.
