Carleton Stone, a pop singer/songwriter from Cape Breton, released in 2013 his new CD entitled Draws Blood, follow up to his self-titled album.

Carleton dedicated the album to his writing partner, the late Jay Smith who passed away in 2013 at the age of 34. He & Jay wrote the title of his album Draws Blood which was Carlton's first co-writing project. Jay was a well-known respected Cape Breton musician and songwriter.

Carleton shines on this album, and had his hands in co-writing on every song on the CD.

Here are the 10 songs titles:

Blood Is Thicker Than Water - Climbing Up The Walls - Signs of Life -Love Into The Light - When You Come Tonight - What I Want- Draws Blood - The Darkness - Like a Knife - Pick Me Up, Dust Me Off

Carleton had a group of professional musicians help him with the music on the album namely: Dylan Guthro, Taylor Knox, Neil Quin, Liam O'Neil, Howie Beck, Jason Collett and Carleton Stone. Also additional musicians: Bryden Baird-Carleigh Aikins-Stefanie McCarrol and Emma-Lee. The music is certainly amazing on the CD and Carleton sings to perfection.

The album was recorded at Revolution Studios and Studio H in Toronto. It was produced by Howie Beck and Jason Collett. The album jacket contains words on every song and makes it easier to sing along with Carleton.

Atlantic Seabreeze gives this album top ratings on its rating list and forsees lots of nominations in the near future. Carleton is a very smooth singer and keeps the same pase throughout the album.
